Martin and Carla van Bourgonje are the second generation of the family who make every effort to ensure that guests experience the optimum hospitality with which Merlet has grown up.
They have worked towards a restaurant / hotel with a good kitchen and skilled employees. Since then, the company continues to improve and develop.
In 1999, Martin and Carla took over from Bert and Nelleke van Bourgonje, who after a few years of active support have withdrawn from the operational side of the hotel and restaurant. Nelleke was very closely involved in the interior and design of Merlet until her death in December 2012.
